Pricing FAQ
DAX Optimizer charges for the analysis of the models. A single analysis of a model is called "run". You can pay based on Consumption (every run counts) or you can have a subscription with multiple runs per day on a limited number of models.
An active model is a model that can be analyzed, whereas inactive models are read-only and cannot be analyzed. Some licenses limit the number of active models you can have simultaneously. When you reach the limit, you can deactivate a model (30 days after the first analysis) to make room for a new one.
DAX Optimizer can analyze models created with tools such as Power BI Service, Desktop, and Analysis Services.
However, the Desktop license can only analyze models created with and stored in Power BI Desktop, while the other licenses do not have such limitations.
While we do not currently provide a formal trial period, we invite you to explore the capabilities of DAX Optimizer by creating an account. As part of this experience, you can access sample models that showcase the features and functionalities available within the platform.
Yes, you can pay by bank/wire transfer, but only for yearly subscriptions or a bundle of runs.

Yes, you can cancel the subscription at any time. When you cancel a subscription, it will still be active until the end of the period you already paid.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any point in time.
When upgrading, you will pay the prorated difference between the two plans for the remaining duration of the current billing cycle. If you downgrade, you will receive a time extension to compensate for any potential credit appropriately.
Yes, you can change your billing frequency whenever it suits you. If you decide to switch your billing frequency, your subscription will restart at the time of the change, and you will be charged for the first new billing cycle.
To make these modifications, visit your account dashboard on our website. If you need assistance or have any questions, feel free to contact our support team at info@tabulartools.com.
No, the Consumption license does not work as a recurring subscription.
Instead, it's like buying tokens for a game arcade. These tokens can be used whenever you want to play as long as your membership remains active. In the context of DAX Optimizer, this membership is referred to as a "contract". It is automatically activated when you make your initial purchase and will expire if you do not purchase any additional runs for 2 consecutive years.
